Warlock Leveling Guide

Hey, welcome to Warlock Leveling Guide!

What I’m going to do is provide you with a warlock leveling guide that will show you a way to go about leveling your warlock from level 1-85. This is one of many ways you can go about doing it, but this is one of the better ways.

Warlock Leveling Build:

Level 1-9

This is only going to take you a matter of 2-3 hours to get through, just use shadowbolt, cast immolation and DOT with corruption
Remember to summon your Imp once you get him at level 4…
Make sure you have demon skin on at all times, it will boost your armour and give you 20% more health from your spells.

Level 10-24

Here’s an overview of how you’re going to spend your talent points up to level 30:

Level 10-14: 5/5 Imp Corruption
Level 15: 1/5 Demonic Embrace
Level 16-18: 3/3 Imp Imp
Level 19: 2/5 Demonic Embrace
Level 20-22: Imp VW
Level 23-25: 5/5 Demonic Embrace
Level 26: 1/1 Fel Domination
Level 27-29: 3/5 Fel Stamina

Now at level 10 switch out your Imp for the Voidwalker
When you encounter a mob, first send your Voidwalker towards the mob to agro it
Once it’s got agro, start DOT’ing the mob, then send the Voidwalker to agro another nearby mob
Once the Voidwalker has the agro of both mobs, start DOT’ing the second mob as well, if at this point the first mob begins to come after you, finish it off with shadowbolt or any other spell, it will not have much life left, then focus on killing off the second mob the Void is tanking…
Keep this process up until all nearby mobs are dead

Level 30-39

At level 30, you’re going to want to respect to the following:

5/5 Imp Corruption, 5/5 Imp Drain Life, 2/2 Imp Life Tap, 5/5 Fel Concentration, 2/2 Nightfall, 2/2 Grim Reach
Level 31: 1/1 Siphon life
Level 32-34: 3/5 Suppression
Level 35-39: 5/5 Shadow Mastery
Level 40: 1/1 Dark Pact
Level 41-45: 5/5 Demonic Embrace
Level 46-49: 4/5 Fel Intellect

At this point you can begin effectively “Drain Tanking”. If you’re new to this concept, see the below video for an explanation. You will DOT the mob, then have your Succubus sent in to aggro it. Right after that, you will begin casting drain life on it

Levels 40-49

Continue Drain Tanking your enemies, although instead of life tapping, you can now begin using Dark Pact, do so only when your pet has at least ½ of it’s mana

Level 50-59

At level 50, respect once more to the following:

5/5 Imp Corruption, 2/2 Imp Lifetap, 3/5 Imp Drain Life, 5/5 Fel Concentration, 2/2 Grim Reach, 2/2 Nightfall, 1/1 Amplify Curse, 5/5 Demonic Embrace, 3/3 Imp Imp, 3/3 Imp VW, 3/3 Imp Succubus, 1/1 Fel Domination, 2/2 Master Summoner, 3/5 Unholy Power, 1/1 Demonic Sacrifice
Level 51: 1/1 Siphon Life
Level 52: 1/1 Curse of Exhaustion
Level 53-55: 3/4 Imp. Curse of Exhaustion
Level 56-60: 5/5 Shadow Mastery

At this point, Drain Tanking becomes all the more effective. You can also start using Demonic Sacrifice on your Voidwalker which will help you regen life after a fight. Doing this will regenerate 2% of your life every 4 seconds

You also have the choice of switching to the Felguard to tank at level 50. For leveling past 60 I would recommend sticking with the Felguard

Level 60+

From this point on, you’ve got a nice grinding spec going, SM/DS
Make sure you switch to using Fel Armour at level 62
When attacking mobs, use the following rotation: Immolate, Curse of Agony, Corruption,Siphon Life, Drain Life, Drain Soul.

That’s about all you need to know to get through the levels without any frustration or headache.
